ESB Business School, as part of state-funded Reutlingen University, is aspiring to become the most international business school in Germany. As of summer 2025, ESB Business School is AACSB reaccredited, thereby ranking among the top 6% of business schools worldwide. The city of Reutlingen, an established centre of industry and commerce with over 100,000 inhabitants, is situated in the state of Baden-Württemberg, which is one of the most prosperous regions of Germany.
